• Vindicated a wrongfully sued local internet technology company and won the complete dismissal of a mid-six-figure claim.
• Representation of two northern Arizona medical marijuana dispensaries in business and regulatory compliance matters.
• Successfully defended a physician in a breach of contract, fraud and racketeering claim in which the plaintiffs claimed more than $500,000 in alleged damages. After an eight-day trial, the 10-member jury returned a unanimous defense verdict. Attorney Jimmy Cool represented the client, who was awarded $120,000 in legal fees and costs.
• In an eight-day commercial arbitration, co-counseled representation in successfully defending the owners of a tech-industry staffing company against claims for damages totaling more than $4 million for alleged self-dealing, oppression, and mismanagement.

• Successfully advised and led team that negotiated the first collective bargaining agreement between an Arizona county Sheriff's Department (Pinal County) and its deputies.

• Formerly represented dozens of Arizona law enforcement officers in matters involving employee rights, due process, merit system appeals, public agency labor relations, tribal sovereign immunity, civil rights and discrimination.

• Prevailed in an administrative trial before a three-person county merit board and overturned the 30th hour suspension of a Sheriff's deputy for allegedly damaging a county vehicle due to negligence.
